With your help, Generation Citizen works to ensure that our government is responsive to the needs of all citizens. Your support empowers youth nationwide to develop the civic skills, knowledge, and motivation to make their voices heard. They are able to drive real change on important community issues, and recognize their critical role as long-term political players.
In 2013-14, GC will support 10,000 students across NYC, Boston, Providence and the San Francisco Bay Area, in becoming effective change-makers. By sponsoring a GC school, college chapter, classroom, leadership development workshop, or student, you are helping to close our nation’s civic engagement gap.
Sponsors are encouraged to visit a GC classroom or college Democracy Coach leadership meeting to observe students taking action and leading change. We look forward to sharing our work with you and are so grateful for your support.

Throughout the GC semester, there are a number of opportunities for community members and local leaders to engage directly with the next generation of leaders. We invite you to observe students in action in a GC classroom, collaborate with Democracy Coaches at a college meeting, or engage with students on their action projects at Civics Day.
