Julia Love is Chief Development Officer at Generation Citizen. She leads fundraising and communications efforts for the organization, and is a member of the leadership team. Julia has over 15 years of experience in fundraising and has served as a board member and volunteer for a number of nonprofit organizations focused on advancing educational equity, youth development, and social justice in the U.S. and globally. Previously, she was Head of Leadership Gifts & Engagement at Teach For All, a network of social enterprises in 60 countries and growing, where she led the individual giving team and portfolio, helping to raise over $75 million during her tenure. Prior, she led Corporate Partnerships at iMentor, and was Director of Philanthropy and Communications at The Resource Foundation, where she served as a philanthropic advisor to individuals and corporations interested in supporting local nonprofits in Latin America and the Caribbean and led the organization’s communications strategies.

Julia holds a B.A. in public policy from Duke University, and dual Masters in Public Administration from the London School of Economics and School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. She began her career as a Fulbright scholar in Bolivia where she worked with civically engaged women leaders. She has also directed and produced several documentary films. Julia lives outside of New York City with her husband and their two daughters.
