Yajaira Adorno brings over two decades of experience in government-operated, mission-centered organizations, and social entrepreneurships to Generation Citizen, having served in diverse roles across the sector. Most recently, she dedicated more than ten years to the charter school system, where she successfully managed human resources & benefits, served as business manager, and executed talent operations and data initiatives.

Her prior work with organizations and initiatives focused on adolescent healthcare, mental health services, the HIV/AIDS community, insurance, and education provides her with a unique perspective and a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She served on the inaugural Steering Committee for DEI and Anti-Racism at Ascend Public Charter Schools.

Guided by her values of integrity,, reliability, and humility, Yajaira is passionate about cultivating inclusive and supportive environments, dedicated to building strong cultures and fostering a sense of community within organizations. She is a results-oriented professional with a strong focus on fair processes and operational efficiency.
